BROAD SERVICES OFFERED FOR NEW MILLENNIUM

SHOTS CONSULTANCY approaches its third year of providing this community with quality training and support services. It has been almost 12 months since the business moved from being home-based, to its current location at 25 Palm Terrace. Proprietor, David Fascetti, says the move was timely and improved its public exposure immensely.

"Whilst there is something to be said for working from home, the move to Palm Terrace has allowed the business to expand. In the last 12 months, the business has grown from being a solo act, to now providing income for myself, one permanent assistant and a few casual trainers."

Mr Fascetti praised the efforts of Mrs Debbie Sartor, who volunteered her services for the first few months at the new location. "Without Debbie's help, a doubt that I would have ever been in a position to get this office established. I owe her a big debt of thanks."

Mr Fascetti was also grateful for the efforts of SHOTS CONSULTANCY'S Service Adviser, Anthony Cerny. "Anthony has had to run the office with little guidance, despite his inexperience. I feel that he has done an excellent job, under these difficult circumstances. Having him around to bounce ideas off is an added bonus."

"I have found Palm Terrace to be a great place to operate a business. I particularly like the sense of community that is shared between the small business owners. When SHOTS CONSULTANCY first moved in, neighbouring businesses all lent a hand to set up the office. We continue to help each other. It's this friendly, cooperative attitude towards each other and towards our customers that sets us apart, I feel", Mr Fascetti said.

SHOTS CONSULTANCY is one business that has prospered from the introduction of the GST. "The demand for computer training has increased significantly over the past twelve months, especially in terms of onsite consultation." However, Mr Fascetti is quick to point out the other services that his business offers.

"SHOTS CONSULTANCY aims to provide this community with a broad range of school, home and office training support. However, most people seem aware only of the computer training and support services. Since its inception, SHOTS CONSULTANCY has been delivering numeracy, literacy and general after-school remediation. It now offers e-commerce (web-page design) and electronic book keeping services, for those people who are not yet ready to keep their own books electronically. In the near future, we are looking to broaden the range of training offered to include Stress Management, Self Defence and even Domestic Arts", he said.
